Volleyball Recap: Tooele Comes Up Short

Tooele was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Grantsville Cowboys. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Buffaloes of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-16.

Among those leading the charge was Tyse Fuentes, who had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces he has posted over his last ten contests.

Tooele's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Grantsville, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tooele will square off against Park City at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup will give Park City their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Grantsville, they will face off against Hunter at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
