Basketball Game Preview: Oconto Falls Panthers vs. Denmark Vikings

The Oconto Falls Panthers will face off against the Denmark Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Denmark will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Oconto Falls extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday. The Panthers walked away with a 72-64 win over Marinette.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oconto Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brady Bursa, who shot 64% from the field on his way to 18 points and five assists. Bursa is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 64% in the last five games he's played dating back to last season. JJ Pytleski was another key player, going 7-for-12 en route to 18 points along with five boards and four blocks.

Meanwhile, Denmark strolled past Sturgeon Bay with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 68-50.

Oconto Falls' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Denmark, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Oconto Falls didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Denmark in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 59-53 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
