Softball Game Preview: Guntersville Wildcats vs. Fairview Aggies

The Guntersville Wildcats will take on the Fairview Aggies at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Guntersville is looking for their season's first victory.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Guntersville came up short against Fort Payne, falling 8-2.

Meanwhile, Fairview was able to grind out a solid win over Cold Springs on Saturday, taking the game 8-4. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Ava Pruett was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in stolen bases. Josie Earl was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Guntersville's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Fairview, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
