Gatesville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Madisonville Mustangs by a score of 8-3. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 win the Mustangs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2019.
