For the second straight game, York will face off against Glenbard West. The Dukes will head out to square off against the Hilltoppers at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. York is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.6 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, York sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over Glenbard West. That's two games straight that the Dukes have won by exactly two runs.

York got a great performance from Jack Lonergan as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. Lonergan has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Josh Fleming was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Allen, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for York and bumps their season record up to 17-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Glenbard West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record this season.
