Basketball Preview: Mount Tabor Spartans vs. R.J. Reynolds Demons
Having just played yesterday, the Mount Tabor Spartans will get right back to it and host the R.J. Reynolds Demons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Mount Tabor and three for R.J. Reynolds.
On Thursday, Mount Tabor came up short against Forsyth Country Day and fell 44-34.

Mount Tabor might have lost, but man, Shaymiah Bailey was a machine: she dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds. Bailey is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last ten games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooke Cilento, who posted seven points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, R.J. Reynolds ended up a good deal behind Reagan on Wednesday and lost 60-43. While losing is never fun, the Demons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 398th, while the Raiders are ranked 158th).
R.J. Reynolds' defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Mount Tabor, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
