Football Recap: Copiague Comes Up Short

Copiague might've scored the first points on Monday, but it was Newfield who claimed the real prize. The Eagles fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 20-18. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Wolverines recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Copiague's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Newfield, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
