Volleyball Recap: Franklin Yellowjackets vs. Bethel Jaguars
Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bethel Jaguars.
In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Franklin sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 21-25, 15-11.
Edgar Paredes paced Franklin's offense, picking up six kills. Paredes got some help from Tyrone Adams and his seven assists. Paredes also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Lazarus Moore, racking up three apiece.
Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bethel, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
