Soccer Recap: Shawnee Comes Up Short

Shawnee was the 3-1 winner over Tippecanoe when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils on Saturday. While losing is never fun, Shawnee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 145th, while Tippecanoe are ranked 34th).

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Tippecanoe, the win keeps them at an undefeated 13-0-2.

Shawnee didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Botkins on the 7th. Tippecanoe has also already played their next matchup (against Butler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
