Softball Recap: Maypearl Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Maypearl's offense. They came up short against the Grandview Zebras on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Zebras recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Bailey Short made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 11-9-2. As for Grandview, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Zebras beat Maypearl by a score of 11-3 later that day.
