Baseball Recap: Wilmington Takes a Loss

Wilmington's last matchup with Stoneham could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Wednesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Spartans, falling 9-3. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Wilmington's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Stoneham, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-12 record this season.

Wilmington will take on Bedford at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Stoneham has already played their next game (against Saugus), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
