Football Recap: Forestview Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Forestview extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 2-6. They came up short against the Ashbrook Greenwave, falling 27-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 34-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Cooper Phillips threw for 60 yards on five of 13 attempts. Nate Smith was his top target, picking up 26 receiving yards. On the ground, Achilles Littlejohn rushed for 86 yards and one touchdown.

As for Ashbrook, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 11.0 points on average this season.

Leading Ashbrook to victory were Savion Lindsay and Aj McClain. Lindsay gained 195 total yards and two touchdowns, while McClain threw for 140 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven passes. Lindsay's longest reception was for an incredible 78 yards. Martino Smith got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Ashbrook will face off against rival Crest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Greenwave 11, the Chargers 11.9) so any points scored will be well earned.
