Basketball Game Preview: Riverside Bulldogs vs. Charleston Tigers

Riverside hasn't had much luck against Charleston recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Riverside Bulldogs will take on the Charleston Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Riverside will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Riverside beat O'Bannon 41-28.

Meanwhile, Charleston can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They came out on top against Leflore County by a score of 42-33.

Riverside is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points per game. As for Charleston, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Riverside couldn't quite finish off Charleston in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 45-43. Can Riverside avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
