Soccer Recap: Kennedy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Kennedy kept a clean sheet against Sylmar on Friday. They beat the Sylmar Spartans by a goal, winning 1-0. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Gilbert Limon, which was the first he's scored this season.

Kennedy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Sylmar, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1-1.

Kennedy will be home for the holidays to greet Simi Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Kennedy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Sylmar, they will head out on the road to square off against El Camino Real at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th.
