Cypress Falls extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Deron Simpson. The Eagles took their contest on Saturday with ease, bagging a 63-7 victory over the Cypress Ridge Rams with plenty of help from Simpson, who rushed for 132 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries. He is becoming a predictor of Cypress Falls' success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Cypress Falls didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Juelz St. Fleur, Deondre Gordon-Brown, and Liam Madkins picked up one apiece. Cypress Falls received some extra help from Kaiden Jones, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Cypress Falls' record is now 7-3. As for Cypress Ridge, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-9.

Coming up, Cypress Falls will face off against Bellaire on Thursday. Cypress Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
