Basketball Game Preview: Caldera vs. Trinity Lutheran Saints

Caldera will take on the Trinity Lutheran Saints in a tournament on Saturday. Caldera knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Trinity Lutheran likes a good challenge.

Caldera is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since March 13th on Monday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Centennial an easy 92-69 win.

Meanwhile, Trinity Lutheran entered their tilt with Ashland on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They took down the Grizzlies 50-32. Those 50 points were actually the fewest the Saints have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Caldera's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3. As for Trinity Lutheran, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
