There's no place like home for West Johnston, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Triton Hawks on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

West Johnston never let Triton on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26, 25-9, 25-14.

Kylee McArtan paced West Johnston's offense, picking up ten kills. McArtan got some help from Carly Eagles and her 14 assists. McArtan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

West Johnston's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4. As for Triton, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
