Basketball Game Preview: Olentangy Berlin Bears vs. North Union Wildcats

Olentangy Berlin has won three straight games at home, while North Union has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Olentangy Berlin Bears will host the North Union Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Olentangy Berlin will bounce into Monday's contest after beating Marysville, who they had gone 0-8 against in their eight prior meetings. Olentangy Berlin sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-44 win over Marysville on Thursday.

Olentangy Berlin found their leader in freshman Kelsey Grubbs, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Bashore, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, North Union was fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Northwestern 62-31. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 27 points or more this season.

North Union's victory bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Olentangy Berlin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
