Recap: Sutter Huskies vs. Lindhurst Blazers

The Sutter Huskies only won by two when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 50-point they dealt the Lindhurst Blazers on Friday. Sutter simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lindhurst 76-26 at home. Given Sutter's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 547th, while Lindhurst is ranked 1374th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sutter had a senior duo take command as Naseem Bhatti scored 12 points and Diego Belmonte scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Belmonte has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jagger Beck, who scored eight points.
Sutter is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Lindhurst, they are on an 18-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-26.
Sutter will head out on the road to square off against Casa Roble at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Casa Roble knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past 28 contests -- so hopefully Sutter likes a good challenge. Lindhurst does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
