Volleyball Recap: Putnam City Comes Up Short

Putnam City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Duncan Demons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2017.

Putnam City's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Duncan, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-1.

Putnam City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Guymon on the 16th. As for Duncan, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Del City on the 16th.
