Basketball Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Comes Up Short

Ashton-Franklin Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Polo Marcos and fell 44-17. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-23 back in January.

Ashton-Franklin Center's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Polo, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-10.

Ashton-Franklin Center will venture away from home to challenge Milledgeville at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Polo, they will welcome Forreston at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
