Softball Game Preview: Rice Lake Warriors vs. Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes

For the second straight game, Rice Lake will face off against Eau Claire Memorial. The Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Old Abes at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Rice Lake blew Eau Claire Memorial out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Eau Claire Memorial got their revenge. The Warriors fell just short of the Old Abes by a score of 3-1. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Kamryn Kunz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 13 Ks.

Rice Lake now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Eau Claire Memorial, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.
