Football Recap: Florence/Henry Comes Up Short

Florence/Henry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Britton-Hecla Braves, falling 53-0. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Braves from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Florence/Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Britton-Hecla, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Florence/Henry will square off against Hamlin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers' defense has only allowed 5.8 points per game this season, so the Falcons' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Britton-Hecla, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Great Plains Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
