Football Game Preview: Grace Christian Academy vs. Sanchez

Sanchez have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Grace Christian Academy on the road at Homecoming at 7:30 PM on Friday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

Sanchez had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past Fayette County HomeSchool with a 59-54 victory. Yes, you read that final score correctly. Yes, this was football.

Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Grace Christian Academy lost to St. Joseph Catholic last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-51. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.

Sanchez's win lifted them to 1-0 while Grace Christian Academy's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Sanchez can add another positive mark to their record or if Grace Christian Academy can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Sanchez's step.
