After a string of three wins, Kenwood's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell just short of the Dickson County Cougars by a score of 48-46. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 54-41 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Kenwood's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Dickson County, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Kenwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Henry County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dickson County, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 82-49 win against Waverly Central on the 25th.
