Meanwhile, Sergeant Bluff-Luton fell victim to Sioux City North and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Stars, falling 7-0. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Stars recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The victory got Spencer back to even at 10-10. As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, their loss dropped their record down to 25-14.
