Football Recap: Royall Falls to Clear Lake in First Game of Season

Royall had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They lost 28-8 to the Clear Lake Warriors. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Royall will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on New Lisbon at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Clear Lake, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Webster at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
