Volleyball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Intrinsic's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Intrinsic won the last time they faced Chicago Marshall and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Commandos.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Intrinsic took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13.

Their offense was headlined by Damian Kepa and Matthew Malkowski, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Bryan Alvarenga and his 12 assists. Jesus Garcia controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Intrinsic has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Chicago Marshall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
