Softball Game Preview: University School Buccaneers vs. North Greene Huskies

University School is 0-5 against North Greene since March of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Buccaneers will head out to challenge the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. University School has given up an average of 11.3 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

University School lost 13-5 to West Greene on Monday. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, North Greene got the win against Unaka on Monday by a conclusive 12-2. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won four matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

North Greene is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for University School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

University School came up short against North Greene when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 8-5. Can the Buccaneers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
