There's no place like home for Cleveland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past the McMinn County Cherokees 3-0 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Raiders as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Cleveland was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 28-17.

Cleveland was led to victory by Jordan Sheffield and Robin Mckissic. Sheffield had seven digs and two aces, while Mckissic had seven digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Mckissic a new career-high. Gianella Williams also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Cleveland was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 6-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Cleveland's victory bumped their record up to 16-18. As for McMinn County, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
