Volleyball Game Preview: Brookline Warriors vs. Wellesley Raiders

After both having extra time off, the Brookline Warriors and the Wellesley Raiders will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Brookline took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Braintree. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Wamps: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Wellesley earned a 3-1 victory over Boston Latin on Wednesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-19, 20-25, 25-12.

Wellesley's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Brookline, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.

Everything went Brookline's way against Wellesley in their previous meeting back in September, as Brookline made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
