Softball Recap: Windham RVT Mighty Tigers vs. Bolton Bulldogs

After flying high against Vinal RVT last Monday, Windham RVT came back down to earth. The Windham RVT Mighty Tigers fell victim to a rough 11-3 loss at the hands of the Bolton Bulldogs on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs Windham RVT has scored all season.

For Bolton's part, Abbie Gravel made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Gravel has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. Gravel was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.
