Corning's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Oroville Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cardinals as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

Corning walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-9, 25-22, 27-25.

Corning's victory bumped their record up to 10-17. As for Oroville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-16 record this season.
