Volleyball Recap: LaGrange Takes a Loss

LaGrange was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trinity Christian Lions. If the Grangers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Among those leading the charge was Lexie Starcher, who had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August.

LaGrange's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Trinity Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, LaGrange and Trinity Christian will both be playing Troup County the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Grangers will host them on Thursday.
