Basketball Recap: Sallisaw Comes Up Short

After flying high against Stigler last Tuesday, Sallisaw came back down to earth. The Sallisaw Black Diamonds fell just short of the Pryor Tigers by a score of 41-39 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Black Diamonds in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

Sallisaw's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Pryor, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Sallisaw didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-30 win against Skiatook on the 24th. As for Pryor, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-26 victory against Mannford on the 24th.
