Baseball Recap: ThunderRidge Comes Up Short

ThunderRidge had lost three straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 7-8 to make it four. They lost 17-11 to the Heritage Eagles. The Grizzlies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Hudson Fagerholt and Shane Christy stepped up to the plate in a big way. Fagerholt fired off two home runs and one double while going 3-for-4, while Christy fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Christy has become a key player for ThunderRidge: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Schulte, who went 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

As for Heritage, they now have a winning record of 8-7-1. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

On Heritage's side, they got a massive performance out of Elliott Milstead, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those five hits gave Milstead a new career-high. Brayden Maddock also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
