Baseball Recap: Freeport Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

Freeport won the last time they faced Booker T. Washington and things went their way on Tuesday too. Freeport walked away with a 10-5 win over Booker T. Washington. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Ryan Darrow was a standout: he scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Niles King III, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.

Darrow wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Freeport kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for Freeport: they were averaging 5.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 9.
