Baseball Recap: Crestview Takes a Loss

Crestview came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat on Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Harrison County Thorobreds/Fillies by a score of 6-4 on Saturday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Landon Peters made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That double was his first of the season. Zach Smith was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run.

Crestview's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Harrison County, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Looking ahead, Crestview will face off against Milton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harrison County, they will square off against Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
