Football Recap: Kauai Takes a Loss

Kauai was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 10-0 to the Waimea Menehunes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Menehunes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 28-20 on September 6th.

Kauai's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Waimea, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Coincidentally, Kauai and Waimea will both be playing Kapa'a the next time they take the field. The Red Raiders will head out to face the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while the Menehunes will head out to face them on October 11.
