Recap: Georgia Military College Bulldogs vs. Hancock Central Bulldogs
The Georgia Military College Bulldogs were the 54-26 winner over the Hancock Central Bulldogs when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Georgia Military College took a 40-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hancock Central on Friday. Georgia Military College found out winning isn't easy when you're outrebounded 16 to 8 on offense.
Despite the loss, Georgia Military College still got an impressive performance from Corrinne Rudolph, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Rudolph has scored all season.
Hancock Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Siauni Little, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Tylecia Tucker, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Georgia Military College's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Hancock Central, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-13.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgia Military College won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Tattnall Square Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 20th. Tattnall Square Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Georgia Military College in Georgia (Tattnall Square Academy is ranked 182nd, while Georgia Military College is ranked 503rd). As for Hancock Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Twiggs County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Twiggs County is hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses.
