Basketball Recap: Park's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Park had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past the Columbia Heights Hylanders with a 72-68 victory on Saturday. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 138th, while the Hylanders are ranked 354th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Park's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-6. As for Columbia Heights, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Park will welcome Roseville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Columbia Heights, they will venture away from home to challenge DeLaSalle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. DeLaSalle knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Columbia Heights likes a good challenge.
