KIPP Newark Lab's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Newark Collegiate Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

KIPP Newark Lab wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 47-36 defeat against Beloved Community Charter on the 30th. As for Newark Collegiate Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-42 victory against Lincoln on the 28th.
