Softball Recap: Riverside Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Riverside's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Burns Hilanders on Friday. The Pirates haven't had much luck with the Hilanders recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Burns, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Coming up, Riverside will welcome McLoughlin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Pioneers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Burns, they will challenge Nyssa at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
