Linton-Stockton beats North Knox for their seventh straight win

The Linton-Stockton Miners had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.7 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They claimed a resounding 48-14 win over North Knox on the road. The result was nothing new for Linton-Stockton, who have now won six matches by 33 points or more so far this season.
Linton-Stockton's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paul Oliver, who rushed for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Christian Shonk was in the mix too, providing Linton-Stockton with two touchdowns.
Linton-Stockton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 9-1. As for North Knox, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Linton-Stockton will be playing in front of their home fans against Greencastle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
