Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Leila Pele and Brooklyn Kelly Lead Sultana to Victory

Sultana won the last time they faced Kaiser and things went their way on Saturday too. The Sultans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cats.

Leading Sultana to victory were Brooklyn Kelly and Leila Pele. Kelly had four aces and three digs, while Pele had 13 assists. Pele has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

They weren't the only good server: Sultana was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

The victory got Sultana back to even at 1-1. As for Kaiser, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Sultana didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rialto on the 9th. As for Kaiser, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Oak Hills on the 13th.
