Soccer Game Preview: Amarillo vs. Lubbock

Amarillo's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over Caprock. The Sandies' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Meanwhile, Lubbock lost 4-1 to Monterey on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Westerners in their matchups with the Plainsmen: they've now lost five in a row.

Amarillo's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Lubbock, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
