Soccer Recap: Holy Cross Falls to King's Christian in First Game of Season

Holy Cross unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the King's Christian Knights on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Holy Cross of the 5-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

King's Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Cross will welcome Florence Township Memorial at 3:45 p.m. on September 2. As for King's Christian, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Calvary Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
