Basketball Game Preview: Georgia Military College Bulldogs vs. Twiggs County Cobras

The Georgia Military College Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Twiggs County Cobras at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Georgia Military College is looking for their season's first victory.

Georgia Military College is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Wilkinson County on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Georgia Military College was outmatched by Wilkinson County and fell 67-40. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-14.

Despite their loss, Georgia Military College saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Benjamin Vaughn, who went 7 for 14 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. The dominant performance gave Vaughn a new career-high in points. Tommy Carty was another key player, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Twiggs County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 64-48 bruising from Wilkinson County.

Twiggs County's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Georgia Military College, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-12.
