Baseball Recap: Pen Argyl Comes Up Short

Pen Argyl couldn't beat Bangor on Tuesday even though they stacked six runs on them in the fifth inning. The Green Knights fell 12-7 to the Slaters. The Green Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Slaters earlier this season, when they won 7-0.

Pen Argyl saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Herfurth, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Pen Argyl's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Bangor, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

As of now, neither Pen Argyl nor Bangor have any future games scheduled.
