Basketball Game Preview: Millville Quakers vs. Bucktail Bucks

The Millville Quakers will face off against the Bucktail Bucks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Millville has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 14.

Millville came up short against South Williamsport on Friday, falling 74-48. While losing is never fun, the Quakers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 679th, while the Mountaineers are ranked 278th).

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last five matches, Bucktail finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were beaten by Northwest Area 51-22. The contest marked the Bucks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Millville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Bucktail, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Millville came up short against Bucktail when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 65-52. Can Millville avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
